This social event is structured as a drop-in day, meaning you can arrive and leave at any time. Here’s the plan!…

  • Join us from 11am at The Station Tavern for coffee, cakes, brunch, lunch or all! This part of the day will provide a relaxed setting to sit down and chat with fellow NF2ers. The tavern is conveniently located next to Cambridge train station and fully accessible, visit to take a closer look.
  • The CYHU team will be leaving the tavern at 2pm to make their way to Cambridge Botanical Gardens and will be entering the gardens at 2:30pm (entry price is £6, essential carers go free). With 2 hours to wander around the beautiful, blooming grounds, or to idly bask in the warm weather (we hope!), it is a peaceful place to unwind together
  • Leaving the gardens at 4:30pm we will make our way to popular American-Italian style restaurant, Frankie and Benny’s , where tables will be reserved for 5pm to enjoy the bar drinks (fabulous cocktails!), snacks or evening meal. Another opportunity to have a good banter, this time in a slightly more lively environment
  • Just a few steps away from the restaurant is the Tenpin Bowling Alley where you can challenge old friends and new to a game or two on the lanes (One game £7.95pp or Two games £13.70 pp). The lanes will be booked for 8pm so make sure you are there with time to spare!

All you need to do to confirm your attendance is let us know a few details and make a minimum donation of £1 to CYHU. If you would like to donate anything extra we would receive this most gratefully! Please note that all food, drinks and entry prices are to be paid for individually on the day. We look forward to seeing you there!
